Depression, when not caused by obvious emotional trauma is due to an imbalance of brain chemicals called neurotransmitters. Neurotransmitters govern moods, behaviour, concentration, sleep and addictions. They can be balanced by resolving digestive dysfunction and nutritional deficiencies. Toxicity and infection can also cause imbalances in neurotransmitters.
Often it is a combination of toxicity, infection, digestive dysfunction and nutrient deficiency that results in depression.
